AFM 09: Nishimura, Iguchi, Sono, Miike And Shimomura Whip Up A Sushi Typhoon!

by Todd Brown, November 4, 2009 12:00 PM

Break out the rain slickers, kids, because there's a massive spray of blood on the horizon. Japan's Nikkatsu studios have just announced the creation of Sushi Typhoon, a goofily titled new sub-label that will exist to create the sort of "violent, popular works that only Japanese cinema has engendered", according to producer Yoshinori Chiba. And who will be leading this charge? Only the likes of Sion Sono, Takashi Miike, Noboru Iguchi, Yoshihiro Nishimura, and Death Trance director Yuji Shimomura, whose now in post-production feature Alien Vs Ninja is the first film to be produced under the new banner.

Word is Nikkatsu will be distributing these films themselves in both the US and Japan so expect a steady stream of blood on screens soon.

that is the ugliest face anyone has ever made in the history of ugliest faces that anyone has ever made. The sheer repugnance (emphasis on the "pug") of this grotesque visage is enough to inspire our own reproductive systems to self-induce sterilization in all of us, to ensure that even the remote possibility of another creature beast beast creature such as this somehow finding a double would not ever be possible.

compared to this, a gorilla mask of testicular cancer ball hair and explosive breakfast diarrhea sculpted into the shape of a scab covered Rocky Dennis rimming a flock of desert fried carrion is equal to the beauty and pleasure of titty-fucking Californication's Eva Amurri while she dribbles honey out of her parted lips and on to your throbbing wanger.

Fuck my Life.
