PhD student who 'read about abduction 101 on a fetish website' is charged with kidnapping Chinese student who vanished three weeks ago in Illinois 'and is now dead'
Brendt Christensen was arrested on charges of kidnapping Yingying Zhang
She was a visiting scholar at University of Illinois studying agriculture sciences
Zhang, 36, was last seen getting into a black Saturn Astra on June 9
FBI looked at registrations for four-doored Saturn Astras in the county; his car had a sunroof and cracked hubcap like the one in the surveillance videos
The 28-year-old was under surveillance on Thursday when FBI agents overheard him talking about kidnapping Zhang and holding her against her will
A search of his cell phone also found he visited a fetish website and looked through threads titled 'Abduction 101' and 'perfect abduction fantasy'
The FBI believes Zhang is dead; it remains unclear if her body has been found
He was PhD candidate at the school; it remains unclear if the two had met before
