Harvey Weinstein Accuser Asia Argento Agreed to Pay $380,000 to an Actor Who Accused Her of Sexual Assault

Actor and musician Jimmy Bennett, who appeared as a child in Argento’s 2004 film adaptation of J.T. LeRoy’s The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things, claimed in documents leaked to the Times that the director sexually assaulted him in the spring of 2013, when he was 17 and she was 37. Bennett claims that after being driven to the hotel by a family member, Argento got him alone, then gave him alcohol, kissed him, gave him oral sex, and ultimately had intercourse with him. 

i don't wanna be "that guy", but i wouldn't call hooking up with Asia Argento when you were 17 "assault". a little gross on her part, sure... but she's always skirted that line between glamorous and grimy... it's part of what has made her an reoccurring presence in my interior sexual life since i was the age of world's luckiest trauma victim profiled above.

i'm sure this is red meat for all the contrarian snark generators and wish-crippled incels out there who draw equivalences like Rob Liefeld draws feet, but sorry culture war boys, i need a bit more convincing.
