people who quote song lyrics in their Facebook statuses are banal incubuses. You're not deep and your everyday "struggles" involving not fitting into a pair of pants or running out of caramel coffee creamer are not being reflected in the words of whatever 90s one-hit wonder you think is poetic. You're just a tasteless miserable identity-lacking drama queen and no one is impressed that you remember the words to fucking Soul Asylum song. listen to SWANS and get the gun, faggot.

What if you use a song title, and the title of the song is "I don't know whether to kill myself or go bowling". Is this acceptable?
i can forgive the use of lyrics/song titles if they're clever or funny or you're just throwing it on there for pisses and shits. most of the time though it's just another excuse for sad-sack stroking.
Yeah I find it annoying. Thankfully 95% of my facebook friends are a little bit more mature than having to resort to song lyrics and cryptic messages as a means of getting attention.
